We wanted to make a difference. So, one year ago we launched our Charitable Foundation…
We can’t believe it’s been a year since we began this journey. In the past 12 months we’ve been busy providing more support than we ever have before to some of the local area’s most amazing charities.
So, what have we discovered? Through our work with charities, it’s become clear how much they need every bit of support we, as a community, can provide. Austerity and Brexit uncertainty are taking their toll, and as individual belts tighten, donations are falling. Charities are finding it harder to source the funds they need to keep up their incredible work without reducing or interrupting their services – which can have a devastating impact on the people who rely on them.
This autumn we plan to continue supporting local causes, ramping up our activity in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year’s. But first, we’ll be hosting a gala dinner in aid of The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, an organisation providing help to children and young people, and their families, who have been diagnosed with brain tumours or are living with post-operative disabilities. Taking place on 28th September at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate, join us for a wonderful evening, with proceeds being donated to this exceptional cause. Limited places are still available; call us to book.
